
Terms of Service & Refund Policy
Sigma Investigations provides professional investigative services under the terms outlined in our client service agreements. Clients are required to remit a monetary retainer before the initiation of any investigative work. This retainer includes a non-refundable service fee, an administrative fee, and a refundable balance applied toward investigative costs.
Monthly administrative maintenance fees apply regardless of case activity. All investigative work will be conducted within the authorized budget, and clients will be notified if additional funds are required. Investigative efforts may be paused if the retainer is depleted.
Refunds of any unused retainer balance will be processed after case closure, minus applicable fees, charges for time expended, and reimbursable expenses. If a client cancels prior to investigative work commencing, a refund may be issued less administrative and document preparation fees. No refunds will be granted if cancellation occurs within 72 hours of a scheduled investigative event or if client interference compromises the investigation.
By engaging our services, clients acknowledge these terms and agree to abide by the outlined conditions, including those related to confidentiality, investigator discretion, and lawful conduct throughout the engagement.
Each service will include terms tailored to the scope of work, and will be agreed upon both parties (Client & Sigma Investigations) prior to conducting any work.
